Eucalyptus For Herbal Medicine And Home Remedies

Eucalyptus trees can grow on the barren soil, soil and can sprout again after the fire. This plant can be found from lowlands to 400 m above sea level, can be grown near the beach behind the mangrove forest, swampy ground or forming a small forest in of dry to wet soil.

Curable Disease:
Rheumatism, enteritis, diarrhea, rash, cough, fever, flu, headache, toothache, eczema, pain in the bones and nerves, weak not excited (neurasthenia), insomnia, asthma.

Part used: bark, leaves, twigs, fruit.

- Rheumatism, bone and nerve pain (neuralgia).

Tree Bark:

1. Purulent Wounds

on open purulent wounds .

2. Inflammation of the skin and eczema

Nature of Chemical and Pharmacological Effects
Bark: Tasteless, neutral, is a sedative.
Leaf: Spicy, chelates, . Eliminating pain (analgesic), diaforetik, anti-rheumatic, carminative, relief of colic (spasmolytic).
Fruit: Smelled of aromatic and a remedy against stomachache.

Chemical Ingredients :
Bark: Lignin, melaleucin.

Leaves: Essential oils, consisting of 50-65% cineol, alpha-terpineol, valeraldehida and benzaldehyde.
